"We are pleased to present the first issue of Points of view: Studies inCulture, Literature and Language. The first issue of this book series comes out in the year of the Tenth Anniversary of the Kujawy and Pomorze University in Bydgoszcz, and is a result of research of the faulty of the youngest departament, the Departament of English. The formula of the series is very broad and, as the title indicates, includes problems of culture, literature and language in their current as well as historical perspective.
The studies, addressed to scholars, students and the general readership, focus on problems within the Anglo-Saxon culture, but papers on more general issues and other cultures are also welcome"
